The building in the background is the restored prison at the Tulelake Segregation Center National Monument.
This site became one of the most notorious of the ten War Relocation Authority concentration camps when it was converted to a high-security prison for non-compliant incarcerees.
Tulelake is in Klamath Tribes (Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin) territory.
