The Block 22 barrack and mess hall at the Minidoka National Historic Site are original buildings.
Special thanks to the NPS Rangers Kurt Ikeda and Emily Teraoka at the Minidoka National Historic Site for their assistance and enthusiastic support during my time at Minidoka. My experience was enriched by the hours that Ranger Kurt and Ranger Emily dedicated to orienting me to the site and researching my family's history at this camp (including the fact that they lived in Apartment C of a barrack in Block 8 about a mile away from where this barrack stands today).
